Actor Vijay's 'Master' had been making all the right noises ever since the project was announced. The film had been the hot topic of discussion after it was announced that Vijay would be teaming up with director Lokesh Kanagaraj of 'Managaram' and 'Kaithi' fame. While the film starring Vijay, Vijay Sethupathi and Malavika Mohanan was supposed to hit the screens in April, the film's release has now been delayed due to the coronavirus lockdown.

Meanwhile, the makers have announced that the film's album has 100 million across all platforms.

Now, according to reports, the movie will release in June 2020. However, neither the makers or the actors have confirmed the news.

Produced by Xavier Britto under the banner XB Film Creators, the film features Vijay, Vijay Sethupathi, Malavika Mohan in the lead roles, while Shantanu Bhagyaraj, Arjun Das, Sriman, Srinath, Sanjeev Gouri Kishan, Brigida, and VJ Ramya are playing supporting roles.
